This film captures my POV from the Black Forest tree planting & dedication that took place on June 21, 2025. Started by Ekene Ijeoma as a dialogue around the disproportionate impact of the pandemic on the underserved, Black Forest has bloomed into an ongoing functional & living art installation across the U.S. On this day, fresh roots took hold in the Bronx.
